I recently had the CO2 laser procedure done with Dr. Patel. And let me tell you, if you are on the fence about this procedure just do it. I did months of research before diving in, meeting with 3 plastic surgeons from here to New York and Dr. Patel was absolutely my top choice hands down.

Now, I know the “first few days” post procedure pictures look scary. But I promise the discomfort is not nearly as bad as it looks. For me, my face just felt tight and what I would call a little tender. Ice packs were a huge help in calming the small discomfort. I didn’t need or take any pain medication. I was swollen for the first 3 days, but by day 4 I started to improve and each day after got better. I was amazed every morning when I woke up how much better I looked. And now, 3 weeks out my skin looks and feels amazing. I’m 45 and don’t need to wear makeup. My skin is so smooth, and my sun spots are gone. The wrinkles around my eyes are completely gone. No more botox needed there! I would absolutely have this procedure done again without any hesitation. A few days of down time for years of great skin is worth the trade off.

I also want to tell you about Dr. Patel and his staff’s after care. Because it is incredible. This isn’t my first rodeo with elective outpatient cosmetic procedures and the after care I received after my CO2 laser procedure was absolutely amazing. The staff checked on me every single day for over a week. They addressed all my questions during the healing process and never made me feel like a burden. They truly cared about my healing journey and made me feel valued as a patient, not just a number or a dollar sign.

So if you want a great doctor to give you great skin, CO2 laser with Dr. Patel is a must. You absolutely won’t regret it!
