WHAT IS BLEPHAROPLASTY?
Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to enhance the appearance and/or function of the upper or lower eyelids.
This treatment addresses issues such as crepey or sagging eyelid skin, puffiness, under-eye bags, and/or tear trough hollowing, which helps to restore a youthful, refreshed look. Performed for those looking to improve vision obscured by excess eyelid skin or enhance their overall facial appearance, blepharoplasty offers natural, long-lasting results with minimal downtime.
TYPES OF BLEPHAROPLASTY PROCEDURES
She complemented her blepharoplasty with CO2 laser treatment, which helps with precancerous lesions and resurfaces the skin to smoother texture and tone, for a comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation. Explore more about CO2 laser treatment here for a full-face glow that enhances your results.
Upper Blepharoplasty
(Upper Eyelid Surgery)
Upper blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin (in addition, fat and muscle in cases where it is required) to improve contour and any excess or other structures. This treatment, not only revitalizes the eye area for a more youthful, refreshed look but can also improve vision when excess skin obstructs sight.
If excess eyelid skin is impairing your vision, we offer a specialized test to assess the impact on your visual field. Should the test confirm that the excess skin significantly obstructs your vision, your insurance may cover the procedure, potentially reducing or eliminating out-of-pocket costs for you.
Lower Blepharoplasty
(Lower Eyelid Surgery)
Lower blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure aimed at rejuvenating the under-eye area by addressing common concerns like excess skin, puffiness (fat bags), and tear trough hollowing. This procedure often involves making an incision behind the eyelid to precisely sculpt or remove excess fat for a smoother, more youthful contour.
When hollowing is present, fat grafting may be used to fill the area, either by transferring fat from the abdomen or thigh or by repositioning existing eye fat to create a smooth, natural transition. Each approach is tailored to the patient’s unique anatomy, providing a refreshed and balanced look under the eyes.
WHAT CONCERNS CAN BLEPHAROPLASTY TREATMENT ADDRESS?
REDUCE EXCESS EYELID SKIN
MINIMIZE UNDER-EYE PUFFINESS
SMOOTH OUT LINES
Minimize sagging or drooping skin on the eyelids to create a more youthful, refreshed appearance. By removing or tightening excess skin, this procedure softens the eyelid contour and reduces signs of aging.
Diminish puffiness and bags under the eyes by addressing displaced fat deposits. This treatment smooths the under-eye area for a rested look and reduces the appearance of fatigue.
Tighten and reshape the eyelid area to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. This smooths the delicate skin around the eyes, creating a rejuvenated, youthful contour.
LIFT HOODED
UPPER EYELIDS
ELEVATE DROOPING LOWER LIDS
SOFTEN TEAR TROUGH HOLLOWING
Correct hooded upper eyelids by removing or adjusting extra skin, enhancing peripheral vision and creating a more open, awake look.
Lift sagging lower eyelids to restore balance and youthful proportions around the eyes, reducing a tired appearance and achieving a refreshed look.
Reduce hollow tear troughs by combining blepharoplasty with fat grafting to restore volume and smoothness, brightening the eye area for a revitalized appearance.
